A Happy and Prosperous New Year 2017 to everyone. So, last month i.e. in Dec 2016 I attended a very fun filled and enjoyable event by FujiFilm where I got #instaxicated

The memories of that event will be cherished and treasured for life as it captured the essence of candid moments for us bloggers.

Since I am a nineties kid, I remember a black rectangle shaped Panasonic camera my dad used to use which had an auto flash, view finder and lens. One had to put AA batteries and a roll film in it to click pictures.

I used to be super fascinated with it, and I know how he would keep reminding me that it was not a toy. Also I would wait for the day he would take me to the studio to give the roll to develop the pictures which would take around 3- 7 days.

Once developed, I would like collecting those pictures which would be on photo paper and write at the back of it the date and the place, just to relive those memories years later.

Over the years, the camera has evolved by leaps and bounds, so much so that nowadays while buying a smartphone the major concern besides the important features is the camera features.

The technology of camera has not only become advanced but sophisticated with a multitude of features to an extent for which one needs to learn how to use it well to take those lovely mind-blowing pictures except the normal digital cameras that are user friendly.

This technological advancement has reached such a point where the current generation is unaware of the fact that cameras where photos had to be developed ever existed, they don’t even know the value of the print copy of a photo.

To bring back the joy of the feature of having a copy of the pictures that we click, Fujifilm came out with the Instant photo system known as “Instax”

Fujifilm is a Japanese photography and imaging company which was established in 1934 and has believed in innovation and creation of new values through leading edge and proprietary technologies. They strive to live up to their slogan “Value for Innovation”

The event I attended was about the Instax Mini 8 which has a cute and compact body design.

It comes with a dedicated Sensor to identify light and has a Brightness adjustment dial with LED indicator that enables taking photos in different modes easily.

The amazing part of the brightness adjustment dial is that it automatically determines the best brightness for taking a picture, and informs you of the suitable setting by lighting the corresponding lamp.

All you then have to do is to turn the brightness adjustment dial to the position (mark) of the lit lamp and you have your perfect shot. Also the high-key mode mark allows you to take pictures with a softer impression.

It is available in seven different, cheerful colors namely Raspberry, Grape, White, Pink, Blue, Yellow and Black.

I received the Instax Mini 8 Bundle Pack Pink one for use and ever since I have got my hands on it I can’t stop clicking and sharing the pictures with my loved ones.

It’s very easy and simple to use and anyone from children to adults can learn how to use it in just a few minutes.

Once you click, the print comes out of the camera and you have to wait for a minute for it to develop gradually and the images to sharpen. The pictures are of high quality and look beautiful with the color presentation.

What I loved most of the Instax Mini 8 is that you just get one original of the picture that you will ever have, which means you can never make copies of it like the earlier cameras that had negative films of which you could get multiple copies.

So whoever you give the picture, it will always be the original that you will share with them. What a treasure for life to have just one of a kind picture.

You can also customize the prints with fancy stickers and buntings. Also you can get as creative as you want with the pictures and make the best use of the instant pictures.
