Maybelline White Superfresh with Pure Perlite Compact Review.

Maybelline has always been innovative in their makeup products, because they want women to express their true self’s and feel good about themselves all the time. With this quality of theirs, it didn’t surprise me when they came out with the new Maybelline New York White Superfresh with Pure Perlite Compact (12HR Whitening + Perfecting)

Let me be honest, I in no way promote fairness products or ever will, because I believe that one should be proud of oneself, hence I respect every race and color. Though this product says 12HR Whitening which I didn’t quite like because of the whitening part, the rest other things lived to its expectations.

The product claims to keep the skin 12HR fair, fresh and protected and perfect with the help of the UV filters. Its main ingredient being the perlite which is a pure mineral with skin perfecting powers that visibly lightens complexion, while absorbing sweat and oil.

Price- INR 150/- for 8 gms.

Shelf Life – 24 months.

Shade selected- Pearl (2 other shades are available i.e. Shell and Coral)

My experience with the Maybelline Pure Perlite Compact Powder.

I pretty much liked this product, considering the fact I don’t go for too much of makeup and just like to keep it simple silly.  This product is a boon for everyday use when we just want to look fresh and not all dolled up. There was no cakey felling on my skin and I guess this is because of the pure perlite mineral.

I used the puff provided to dab the compact two to three times. It as a mild fragrance that’s very soothing to the nose and the compact is super fine. You will understand better in the before/ after pictures that are below.

The product comes in a round case that has a mirror, puff and a plastic shield to keep the compact protected. The casing is superb as it closes securely with a click. Its travel friendly and because of the secure casing you don’t need to worry about it getting spoilt.

I don’t agree with the claim of 12HR though as the same remained put for max 6HRS before I had to do a little touch up.  The coverage of the compact is light, as it was not able to hide away all my recent breakouts, however I wouldn’t blame the compact for it, as ideally compacts are used to touch up after one has applied a concealer and foundation.

The world of compact powder though has changed as due to lack of time many women use it directly on their skin after putting a base primer or sunscreen. I did the same as I was in a hurry so there was absolutely no time to do the religious routine. The results were just flawless as you can see, it was a mini makeover that looked natural and made me feel great.

Also it absorbs oil and sweat, which is a big thumbs up. I tend to sweat a lot above my upper lip, this compact absorbed that and there was little sweat only which when wiped with the tissue didn’t leave any traces to show that I had used a compact.

I would definitely be buying this product again because it’s just perfect for everyday use and is super affordable and travel friendly. My favourite part being that it absorbs sweat and oil like a pro.

My rating for this product would be 4/5.
