Jewellery of any kind, whether it is traditional, fashion, occasional or fancy has a close place in a woman’s heart. Jewellery is that item which can bring a big bright smile on any woman’s face.

Jewellery is one such accessory that totally changes the look of a person. Depending on the type of jewellery and its use for various looks such as bridal wear, office wear, daily wear or occasional wear, it brings the charm that just brightens up everything.

Jewellery holds a great significance in Indian culture as it’s so profoundly seen in its manifestation through the various auspicious occasions.

Jewellery is considered very auspicious for women as well in terms of gifting for various occasions and important events of human life like birth, marriage etc.

To get an insight of some magnificent jewellery, I was called to witness the same at P. N. Gadgil Jewellers store in Thane.

From the moment I walked into the store, I could sense the happiness and the magnificent felling of being inside a 181 years old legendary jewellery store in all its grandeur.

P. N. Gadgil Jewellers was the dream of Shri. Purushottam Nayaran Gadgil, who believed in delivering nothing but pure gold; just like his nature of being a pure person.

Over the years, P. N. Gadgil Jewellers have developed great respect for its brand because of its customer loyalty, transparency and efficient service to the customers and the society as a whole.

The traits of the brand are clearly seen in their jewellery and the way their staff go all out to ensure you get what you desire.

Since it’s the month of Shravan in the Maharashtrian calendar and soon it will be Ganesh Chaturthi, it is considered an auspicious time to purchase gold jewellery. Also the wedding season is round the corner which further adds to the importance of buying gold jewellery.

I first checked out the Mangalsutra collection of P. N. Gadgil, a mangalsutra holds a very sacred bond in the Indian tradition and is considered to be a married woman’s strength.

A mangalsutra is a necklace that has a black thread generally which the groom ties around the bride’s neck during the holy ceremony of matrimony thus giving her an identity of being his wife and a married woman henceforth.

P. N. Gadgil has a Mangalsutra Mohatsav going on where there are some great mangalasutra designs available for the Indian bride.

The mangalsutras are in various kinds such as wedding, daily, office and fancy wear. You can see from the pictures below how amazingly beautiful each piece is crafted to suit every woman and bring that charming smile to her face.

Each mangalsutra is different and unique in its kind and definitely caters to each person’s desire. The mangalsutra ranges from Rs. 20,000 /- to Rs. 3,00,000 /- depending on the weight and  style.

My next stop in the store was to check out some earrings and must I say I was totally in love with the choices that I saw. I looked at their Indian wear earrings and since I was wearing an anarkali dress, I wanted to try on something that would suit my look.

You can see from the pictures how elegant and exquisite they look. The earnings range from Rs. 17,000 /- to Rs. 61,000 /- depending on the weight and style.

Next I checked out their silver section, which was the most crowded. Trust me the designs were flawless and looked gorgeous. Being a big time fan of silver, I couldn’t help taking a look at the lovely designs.

I selected a pretty necklace set to try on which was worth Rs. 5,000 /- but as it’s a sale time, it was available for flat 50% discount at Rs. 2,500 /- only.

I then moved on to the diamond collection which again had some great designs and we all know a diamond is a woman’s best friend. Truly so the sparkly diamonds were very pleasing and glittering to my eyes.

My last stop in the store was the gold necklace set, which again had various varieties for various occasions. They definitely had a charm of their own.

I spent close to 2 hours in the store trying and selecting jewellery that suited my mood and desires.

I was pleasantly surprised and more than happy to see that each piece of jewellery gave me an amazing feeling of carrying myself in different looks beautifully.

I had an amazing time spending my precious time trying on some exquisite jewellery by P. N. Gadgil Jewellers at their store.

Don’t forget to check out their stores to get hold of the amazing jewellery and also get some great offers on the Mangalasutra Mohatsav.
